Know before you go: UC Berkeley campus · ~8500 capacity · A 1903 open-air amphitheater carved into the Berkeley hillside at 2001 Gayley Rd, with Doric-columned stage walls and curved stone benches where fans watch the sunset over the bay behind the stage at mostly all-ages Another Planet shows.
Tip: Campus parking is tiny and card-only, so take BART to Downtown Berkeley and walk about 20 minutes uphill; it's cashless and rain-or-shine, the seating is stone benches even for reserved shows (flat seat cushions are allowed), and fog rolls in at night, so bring layers.
