Know before you go: Silver Lake · ~125 capacity · A 1905 landmark at 4212 W Sunset Blvd remodeled in 1961 to look like a 16th-century Spanish tavern, El Cid is a tiny 125-capacity Silver Lake room that hosts flamenco dinner shows on weekends and then flips to disco, house and left-field local parties on its stage and patio for an easygoing Eastside crowd.
Tip: Age policy varies by event (RA lists some nights 18+ and others 21+, so check your ticket), and parking is street-only on Sunset, but it's about two blocks from the Sunset/Vermont Metro B Line station.
