About The Knocks: The Knocks are Ben 'B-Roc' Ruttner and James 'JPatt' Patterson, who met at New York's New School and formed the duo in 2008; the name came from neighbors knocking on their apartment door to complain about the volume. They work in a disco- and funk-leaning strain of dance music across four albums including 'HISTORY' and '55.'
