About Sam Alfred: Sam Alfred was born in Egypt to a South Sudanese family, grew up in Tasmania and is now based in Melbourne. He began releasing in 2021 with the 'Strictly Business' EP on Love Above Records, followed by EPs on Phenomena, Happy Wax and Gallery Recordings, and broke through internationally with the 2024 'Roadblocks' EP on Running Back and a Boiler Room set at AVA Festival Belfast.
