About Manic Focus: Manic Focus is John 'JmaC' McCarten, a producer originally from the Twin Cities of Minnesota and later based in Denver, who blends soul, funk, hip-hop and heavy bass into feel-good electro-soul and livetronica. Classically trained on piano, he moved from making hip-hop beats to electronic production and released a run of independent albums before dropping Cerebral Eclipse on GRiZ's All Good Records in 2014. He is a regular on the US jam-and-bass festival circuit, often bringing out live guests such as GRiZ and Big Gigantic's Dominic Lalli. Full profile →
