About Lil Texas: Lil Texas is Samuel Barry, a hardcore producer from Dallas, Texas, now based in Los Angeles. A Berklee College of Music alumnus with roots in jazz and classical, he moved from playing in bands to a solo project built entirely around the rave, and has been active in the underground electronic scene since 2012. He is best known for pushing hardcore past 200 BPM — a style he calls 'texcore' — and made his hardcore debut with the single 'I AM EXCITED', drawing support from Virtual Self, Kill The Noise and Pendulum.
