About Laidback Luke: Laidback Luke is Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen, born in Manila to a Dutch father and a Filipina mother and raised in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. A key architect of the electro and Dutch house sound of the late 2000s, he has collaborated with Swedish House Mafia, Steve Aoki and David Guetta and remixed Madonna, Daft Punk, Mariah Carey and Depeche Mode. Through his Mixmash label he became a mentor figure in dance music, giving early platforms to Avicii, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens and Deorro.
