About KLOUD: KLOUD is an anonymous, masked Los Angeles-based producer whose persona plays on artificial intelligence, robotics and data privacy; the alias began in 2017 as an electronica project and shifted toward techno in 2020. The debut album AUTONOMY (October 2020, lead single 'VIRUS') was followed by the 1093 EP (2021), the single 'INFECTED' (2021) and the BLACK EP (2023), the later releases on the label Lowly, plus a remote techno set performed in partnership with Insomniac. The project was briefly rebranded GEN.KLOUD before returning to KLOUD in 2023, and now centres on hard techno around 155 BPM performed in improvised live sets built only from KLOUD's own productions.
