About Juan Maclean: The Juan MacLean is the project of John MacLean, a former guitarist in the post-hardcore band Six Finger Satellite who turned to electronic music after reconnecting with James Murphy and his DFA Records label. His first DFA release, 'By the Time I Get to Venus', came out in 2002, followed by the albums 'Less Than Human' (2005) and 'The Future Will Come' (2009). His sound runs from dance-punk and electronica to house and nu-disco, with the 2008 single 'Happy House' among his best-known tracks. Full profile →
