About Horse Meat Disco: Horse Meat Disco is a four-strong London DJ collective — founders Jim Stanton and James Hillard alongside residents Severino Panzetta and Luke Howard — who threw their first party at The Eagle in Vauxhall on New Year's Day 2004. Billed as 'a queer party for everyone', it grew out of Hillard's frustration with a London gay scene he found fragmented into separate tribes, and the weekly Sunday session still runs. Championing classic disco, boogie and house, they have grown into a global brand with residencies in Berlin, New York and Lisbon and a run of acclaimed compilations for Glitterbox and Defected.
