About H-Foundation: H-Foundation is the house duo of Hipp-E (Eric Galaviz, originally from Denver) and Halo (Brian Varga), who met in 1999 and came up through the Chicago scene where Halo worked at the Hip House record shop before the pair relocated to California. Their deep, dub-influenced take on Chicago jackin' house landed on Siesta, Moody and Glasgow's Soma, which released the album 'Environments'; they debuted at London's fabric in 2001 and mixed the club's seventh compilation in 2002. After a mid-2000s break the duo reunited in 2012 and have since split and re-joined for studio work and bookings, with Hipp-E also running the ROOTS imprint and Halo running Muted Noise.
