About Green Velvet: American DJ, producer and singer Curtis Alan Jones, a pillar of Chicago house known for his signature green mohawk. Recording as Cajmere he dropped the classic 'Percolator' and founded Cajual Records in 1992, followed by its techno-leaning offshoot Relief in 1993.
