About Gene Farris: Gene Farris is a Chicago house music veteran who has produced and DJed for over three decades, shaped by the city's founding scene and once a resident at Frankie Knuckles' Power House. He began releasing records in 1994 and founded his influential label Farris Wheel Recordings in 1998, working with Cajual, Relief and Defected along the way.
