About DARKSIDE: Darkside is the duo of electronic producer Nicolas Jaar and multi-instrumentalist guitarist Dave Harrington, who met as students at Brown University and formed the project in 2011. Blending improvisational, blues-inflected guitar with cinematic downtempo electronics, they broke through with the 2013 album Psychic before pausing and returning in 2018. Later releases including Spiral (2021) expanded the line-up, and their live shows are known for slow-building, hypnotic psychedelia. Full profile →
