About Chris Lorenzo: Chris Lorenzo is a British DJ and producer born in Birmingham in 1988 who emerged from the city's underground scene in the early 2010s. Around 2008 he began merging bassline with house — a hybrid he called 'house & bass' — and is widely credited with pioneering bass house, folding UK garage swing and tech-house grooves into heavy low-end. His 2015 track 'Fly Kicks' with AC Slater on Night Bass was an early streaming breakthrough, and 'California Dreamin'' with High Jinx remains his best-known record.
