About Carl Cox: Carl Cox is a British house and techno DJ, radio host and producer, born in Oldham in 1962 and raised in south London. He started out as a teenage mobile DJ before Chicago acid house reshaped his direction in the late 1980s, going on to become one of dance music's most celebrated figures.
