About Blood Orange: Blood Orange is the project of Devonté Hynes, an English singer, producer and composer based in New York, previously of Test Icicles and Lightspeed Champion. He launched Blood Orange in 2011 with the single 'Dinner' and the Domino-released album 'Coastal Grooves,' developing a soft-focus blend of 1980s R&B, funk and synth-pop.
