About Black Tiger Sex Machine: Black Tiger Sex Machine (BTSM) is a Montreal electronic trio — Marc-André Chagnon, Julien Maranda and Patrick Barry — known for aggressive, dark electro and a post-apocalyptic stage identity built around illuminated tiger helmets. The three founded the independent label Kannibalen Records in 2011 and broke through as an act the following year, going on to sign Apashe, Kai Wachi, Dabin and Lektrique. Their 2016 full-length Welcome to Our Church established the sound, and singles such as 'Zombie' with Panther and 'Lions' with YOOKiE remain set staples. Live, they work from a central mixer with drum machines, launchpads and keys, with lighting and helmet LEDs synced to the music rather than pre-rendered. Full profile →
