About Ash Lauryn: Ash Lauryn is a Detroit-born, Atlanta-based DJ and writer whose first gig came in September 2016, five years after Movement Festival first made her consider DJing. In May 2017 she launched Underground & Black, a blog, NTS radio show and occasional party dedicated to preserving the Black roots of house and techno. She favours soulful, classic house, cites Ron Trent, Kai Alcé, Patrice Scott, Underground Resistance and Jeff Mills as influences, released her debut EP 'Truth' in 2021, and has played all-night sets at NT's Loft in London plus long summer runs across London and Berlin.
