About Artifakts: Artifakts is the audio-visual project of Wisconsin-born producer Garret Meyer, a Milwaukee native who launched the alias in 2011. His sample-based productions blur electronic, hip-hop and soul, and his live and DJ sets move between current bass music, classic funk grooves and rap flips. Released through Philos Records, Gravitas Recordings and Lowtemp Music, his catalog includes collaborations with Daily Bread and Manic Focus, a feature on GRiZ's 'I Don't Mind', and the all-star single 'Friends' with Marvel Years, Kill Paris and Break Science.
