About Armand Van Helden: Armand Van Helden is a Boston-born, New York-based DJ and producer who became one of house music's defining hitmakers of the 1990s. The son of a U.S. Air Force father, he spent a nomadic childhood in the Netherlands, Latvia, Turkey and Italy before landing in New York, where club records like 'Witch Doktor' (1994) and 'The Funk Phenomena' (1996) made his name. His 1998 album 2Future4U and its single 'U Don't Know Me' hit number one in the UK, and in 2009 he formed Duck Sauce with A-Trak — their 'Barbra Streisand' topped the charts in twelve countries and earned a Grammy nomination.
