About AMÉMÉ: AMÉMÉ is Hubert Sodogandji, an Afro house DJ and producer born and raised in Benin who now splits his time between Brooklyn and Berlin. Raised on West African ceremonial music and drawn into electronic music by the French house his older brother brought back from France in 2005, he left a career in banking to pursue DJing. Unable to get booked after moving to New York, he started his own party — One Tribe — at Bushwick venue House of Yes in 2017, which has since grown into a global platform spanning a record label and fashion line. He has played Coachella, Burning Man, CRSSD and Outside Lands, with support from Black Coffee, Jamie Jones and Damian Lazarus. Full profile →
