About 1tbsp: 1tbsp is the indie-house project of Australian producer Maxwell Byrne, a Grammy-nominated songwriter better known under his Golden Vessel alias. He launched 1tbsp in 2019 while curating house tracks for his DJ sets at a Brisbane party series, and issued the debut EP 'kanashi' in 2021 through Sumoclic, the label he co-owns. His sample-driven, genre-blurring house — often compared to Mura Masa and Jamie xx — has since carried him to festivals including HARD Summer and Shambhala. Full profile →
